I first heard about Nogizaka46 when they first debut back in 2011. At the time I was a full AKB wota! (^q^) “Just another sister group”, I thought. Well technically they are AKB’s official rival group. I enjoyed their “Aitakatta kamoshirenai” which is a rip off AKB’s “Aitakatta” song, you know to promote the rivalry.
Four years later, I came across a drama labelled as “49” which featured Nogizaka’s Nishino Nanase. She totally captured me! YABAI!
I started watching NogiBingo, which follows the same format as AKBingo, except there are around 12ish episodes per season. The fourth season is about to begin, which I am looking forward to. (^o^) For those not familiar with the show, its is a game show featuring only the Nogizaka members, they take on several challenges and face severe punishment for failing. In some cases there are rewards to die for. All very fun and interesting to watch.
Another TV program known as “Nogizakatte, Doko?”, is Nogizaka’s variety program. I love it! Nogizaka is super interesting and funny!
Their songs are really nice as well! I have favorite most of them.
Below is a summary of my Nogizaka discovery.
49 (drama) –> Nanasemaru –> Nogizaka46 –> TV programme –> Songs
Miona is another one of my favorites, she’s super super super super cute! She has an obsession with horror movies, one of her challenge was to remember the main character’s name in a horror movie, given the title. She watched all 100 or so of the movies. She did really well in the challenge but missed one. So her punishment was to go through a haunted house all by herself.
Strangely enough many of the members resemble past and present AKB members. Here are some of my observations.
Ikuta Erika –> Maeda Atsuko
Sakurai Reika –> Oshima Yuko
Hashimoto Nanami –> Shinoda Mariko
There are probably others as well.
Ofcourse you didn’t thing I would go without obtaining idol good!
Here is a rare item. Japan is crazy about point cards, so much that every shop asks for it.
Somehow I managed to get my hands on a Nishino and Ikoma R point card!!
This is seriously awesome!
I bought this from the Nogizaka official shop.
Too bad it’s not life-sized…
To kick-start my collection.
Rena-chan is also in Nogizaka!
Nanase was on the cover of the March BLT.
20 facts about Nishino Nanase.
A BIG Nanase poster came with the Entame magazine.
Finally Nanase’s first photobook. I love photobooks!
I’ve been to a manga cafe, so this is all familiar. They call it an internet cafe here.
In her home town Osaka. She’s really cute when speaking in Osaka-ben.
Finally an omake, 1 photo was included inside!
